Accessible communications that build trust, strengthen community, and achieve digital excellence
Every service we offer is built around one goal: making sure your message reaches every member of your community, not most of them.
Accessible Writing & Editing
Transform your content into clear, inclusive communication that everyone can engage with.
Your reports, website copy, and grant proposals represent your mission. Every piece we write is built around plain language and accessibility from the first draft — not retrofitted at the end — so your content is readable and accessible for the people you serve, not just the people who already know your organization.
What You Get: Accessible Writing & Editing
- Website copy: Written for clarity and screen-reader compatibility, so every visitor — regardless of ability — can find what they need and take action.
- Grant proposals: Well-structured, compelling proposals that communicate your mission and impact clearly to funders, strengthening your case for support.
- Reports: Annual reports, impact reports, and board materials written and formatted for readability — turning data into a story your stakeholders actually read.
- Blog content: Regular posts that build authority and keep your audience connected to your work, written in plain language accessible to every reader.
The Impact
No more unintentional exclusion. Just communication that works for everyone.
Accessible Digital Campaigns
Move from reactive posting to proactive community building.
Social media and email aren’t just broadcasting tools. Done well, they’re how you deepen trust with the people who already believe in your mission — and reach the ones who haven’t found you yet. Every strategy is built around your audience’s real habits and needs, not just what’s trending.
What You Get: Digital Campaigns
- Social media strategy: A clear plan for what to post, where, and why — built around your goals and your audience so every post earns its place.
- Email campaigns: Newsletters and sequences that keep supporters engaged and informed, written to be compelling and accessible across devices and assistive technology.
- Content calendars: A practical, ready-to-use calendar that takes the guesswork out of what to publish and when, so your team can execute with confidence.
- Accessibility-first design built into every channel from the start.
The Impact
A digital presence that builds trust, not just noise.
Accessible Multimedia Storytelling
Stories that reach all people, not just most.
Podcasts, video, and social assets bring your mission to life — but only if everyone can access them. We build captions, transcripts, and accessible formatting into every piece from the start, so no community member gets left behind.
What You Get: Multimedia Storytelling
- Podcast editing: Professional editing that makes your podcast sound polished and easy to follow, with transcripts and accessibility considerations for every episode.
- Video content: Designed for your audience and platform, with captions and accessible formatting built in so your message reaches everyone.
- Social media assets: Graphics, reels, and other visual content built with alt text, captioning, and readable design — without sacrificing visual impact.
- Multimedia strategy that amplifies your reach without compromising your ethics.
The Impact
Inclusion isn’t theoretical here. It’s built into every frame and every word.
Communications Strategy & Accessibility Audits
Build sustainable practices that move you from reactive to proactive.
An honest look at how your organization communicates — including how accessible and inclusive your current efforts really are — paired with a practical roadmap for doing better. Audits, training, and long-term planning turn accessibility and inclusion from occasional projects into permanent practices.
What You Get: Strategy & Optimization
- Communication audits: A clear-eyed review of your current messaging, channels, and materials that identifies what's working, what's not, and where the gaps are.
- Accessibility audits and training: An assessment of how accessible your communications truly are, paired with hands-on training so your team can build accessibility into everything they create going forward.
- Strategic planning: A roadmap that connects your communications to your organization's broader goals, so every campaign and piece of content is working toward something.
- Team training: Practical, jargon-free training that builds your team's skills and confidence — in writing, accessibility, strategy, or whatever your organization needs most.
The Impact
Your team gains the tools to maintain digital excellence independently; no ongoing dependency required.
Working with Wired Mind Media
What to expect when you work with us.
-
Nonprofits, educational institutions, government agencies, and CSR/ESG teams. More specifically, we work best with organizations that already believe in inclusion and want their communications to catch up with their values. If you're looking for someone to talk you into caring about accessibility, we're probably not the right fit. If you already care and don't know where to start, we are.
-
About 30 minutes. We ask about your organization, your audience, and what's getting in the way of your communications right now. You ask us whatever you want. No pitch deck, no pressure. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together could look like.
-
It depends on the scope. A communications audit typically takes two to three weeks. A full strategy engagement runs longer. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start, and we don't move the goalposts without telling you why.
-
It depends on what you need. We don't publish fixed pricing because no two organizations have the same gaps, goals, or bandwidth. The best way to get a sense of cost is to schedule a discovery call. We'll ask the right questions and come back with something that fits your actual situation, not a package you have to bend yourself around.
-
Yes. Some of our best work has been with lean teams doing outsized impact. We'd rather find a scope that works for your budget than turn away an organization doing meaningful work. Tell us what you're working with and we'll figure out what's possible.
-
Most agencies treat accessibility as a feature or an add-on. We treat it as the foundation. We don't retrofit inclusion at the end of a project. We build it in from the first conversation.
We also work exclusively with mission-driven organizations, which means we understand your constraints, your audience, and your values in a way a generalist agency usually doesn't.
And it's personal. Our founder, Gillan Ritchie, is autistic and has ADHD. Neurodivergence is part of her immediate family too. Accessibility isn't a service offering we developed because it was a market opportunity. It's how we move through the world. That lived experience shapes every strategy, every audit, and every piece of content we produce.

Schedule a discovery call. It's 30 minutes, it's free, and it's genuinely just a conversation. No commitment required. Book a time here.
